On The Hub: Download Install File & Retrieve Product Key for Office 2016 (Windows)

 General Information

On The Hub is a Recommended Download site offered to LSU Students. It is available for downloading Microsoft Office 2016 & other  software packages with an Educational Discount. This method provides a FREE Authorization Key that can be used on ONE Student Personal Computer.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THIS METHOD?

• As an LSU Student, you won't have any issues; however, upon Graduation or Leaving the University, you will no longer have access to connect to the LSU VPN OR  the eduroam network.

1. TO FIX / AVOID THIS PROBLEM: You will be required to re-install Office from On The Hub. Download and Activate Office 2016 using On The Hub.
 

Important Student Information

• This Product Key received  WILL ACTIVATE Office 2016 on ONE COMPUTER ONLY.  After Installing & Activating ONCE, the Activation Key WILL NOT Work Again.

  **  VERY IMPORTANT NOTE  **  Make Sure to SAVE your Product Key and DOWNLOAD MEDIA !!!  Write it Down  **

Getting Started

1. Go to the LSU On The Hub Web Site and select Office 2016. 

2. Click Add to Cart. Notice that this is a Free Purchase.

3. Click Checkout.

4. Review the license agreement, fill in the username and signature at the bottom of the screen, and click I Accept.

5. Fill out the contact information. Click Proceed With Order.

6. Your receipt will display. Click Download. An e-mail containing this receipt should have now been sent to your inbox provided; however the Product Key WILL NOT be in the e-mail. Your Product Key (listed below on the receipt in the area in the red boxes) will ONLY appear in your On The Hub Account for 30-DAYS.
